Lactation Specialist 1 or 2
We are seeking a Lactation Specialist (15–20 hours/week) who is passionate about maternal and child health to serve our central and south Berkshire County families.Candidates may apply with a current CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) or as a Paid Trainee—BNF provides paid training time, coursework support, and covers the CLC exam fee.
Bilingual Lactation Trainee
To better reflect the communities we serve and to create opportunities for underrepresented staff to gain advanced training, BNF is hiring a Bilingual Lactation Trainee to serve our Spanish-speaking families in Berkshire County. This is a grant-funded position for one year from Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation's Perinatal Health Initiative, with the possibility of renewal for additional years depending on performance and continued funding.
This is a paid trainee position — BNF will provide paid training time, CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) coursework support, clinical mentorship, and cover the cost of the CLC and certified childbirth educator exam.
