The prenatal and postpartum period is such a vulnerable time due to so many factors, and because of your donations - of funds, time, resources, and skills - we are able to continue to extend our reach to the families who need us.
Because of you, all Berkshire County families, regardless of income or insurance, have equitable access to our services and never receive a bill from us.
This is critical because half of the families we serve are extremely-low, low, or moderately-low income.
Without donations like yours, families would not otherwise be able to access the unlimited, individualized, 24/7/365 lactation and parenting support services that we uniquely provide.

Donate Funds
How are your monetary donations used?
Here are just a few examples:
Your donations enable us to drive all throughout Berkshire County to support new families directly in their homes. This means access to care for even the most rurally located families who may not have access to transportation.
Your dollars allow us to staff the 24/7/365 support line with lactation professionals so that day or night when a new parent can’t feed their baby, they have someone to turn to for help.
Because of your donations we are able to host our weekly and monthly play and support groups.
When you contribute money to BNF, you’re helping us buy pump kits, feeding tubes, nipple shields, bottles, etc. for families that otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them or wouldn’t be able to feed their baby in the moment without them.
Your donations allow us to buy scales to check babies’ weights, right in their homes, to ensure they’re getting the nutrients they need to thrive.
Your donated dollars buy the snacks, lunches, and supplies that enable us to host events/groups for young parents - teen to 23 year olds.
Your donations are what enables BNF to exist. We are exclusively grant and donor funded. We wouldn’t be able to do all that we do for the Berkshire County community without your monetary support.
Donate Towards Supplies for Families
Pumps fail. Parts break. A different size flange is needed. Cracks and injuries occur requiring nipple shields for healing. Tube feeding becomes necessary. A baby needs a specific type of bottle.
Etc, etc, etc…
The unexpected happens and families are often left scrambling to get and pay for necessary feeding supplies.
Families cannot wait days for an Amazon delivery to arrive, and many families simply wouldn’t be able to afford the feeding tools they need without our help.
We need to have these supplies on-hand when issues arise so that families can feed their babies right then and there.

Donate Towards Transportation for Families
In order to access our in-person groups, many families often need help paying for transportation.
Half of the families we serve are low-income, and many do not have access to reliable transportation or have the means to afford or ability to reach the very limited public transportation that is available in Berkshire County.
