Maxwell Song
Hello! My name is Maxwell Song and I’m a current senior at Williams College graduating with honors in Biology and a minor in Public Health. A little background about me is that I’m from San Francisco and even though it’s a beautiful city, there are still many people in the city who need financial support in order to meet their daily needs. It was from serving and working with homeless people in the city that inspired my passion for volunteer work. I have decided I wanted to work with the Berkshire Nursing Families because I still believe serving others should start at the local level and I strongly believe that the Berkshire Area is a place worth serving. Within BNF I hope to use my background in nonprofit/fundraising work along with my skills in academic research to help others understand the value and importance of the work this organization does for new mothers and their families.

Rachel Morrow
Rachel is a junior at Williams College, majoring in Arabic Studies and concentrating in Public Health. Outside of the classroom, she serves as a member of the Williams Outing Club Board, striving to make the outdoors more accessible, and as a Student Leader in the Williams College Center for Learning in Action, working with local elementary school students. She first learned about Berkshire Nursing Families through the Maternal and Infant Health Unit in her course, International Nutrition. She is excited to be working with Berkshire Nursing Families this January and is interested to work in the field of women’s health after graduating!

Grace Lee
Grace helped develop social media strategies to facilitate engagement within the BNF and T23 community during the pandemic. She also hosted workshops and created tutorial videos for BNF staff to help improve the visibility and accessibility of BNF’s Facebook posts and stories. Grace is expected to graduate from Williams College in 2024 and is planning to major in Chemistry with a concentration in neuroscience.

Emily Zheng
Emily is a senior at Williams College majoring in Studio Art and concentrating in Justice & Law and Global Studies. This Winter, she revamped BNF’s visual identity, creating new graphics and designing new logos for the team and several of its playgroups. She’s loved collaborating with the incredible people at BNF (+ Grace, the best intern partner ever!) and honored to have had the opportunity to work for the people of Berkshire County.

Abby Brustad
Abby graduated from Williams College in 2019, where she studied Psychology and Public Health and played ice hockey. She interned with BNF for her Public Health Experiential Component and loved getting to know and learning from the BNF team and the families in the community. Since graduating, she has been working in child development research and plans to pursue her maternal and child health interests through an MD/MPH degree.Description goes here
