Berkshire Families
Need You

Your gift makes our work possible.

Why give?

  • Every baby deserves a healthy start.

BNF ensures that families in Berkshire County receive the guidance, education, and care they need from pregnancy through early childhood — setting babies up for lifelong health and development.

  • Parents don’t have to do it alone.

Those first days, weeks, and months are hard. BNF offers free, compassionate, and expert support so no family has to struggle with feeding challenges, postpartum stress, or uncertainty on their own.

  • Your gift stays local.

Donations directly fund hands-on services, lactation support, and community programs that reach hundreds of local families each year (over 900 this year!) Every dollar helps build a healthier, more connected Berkshire community.

My daughter was born at 26 weeks and came home from the NICU on oxygen and a G-tube. I’m still pumping almost a year later. BNF has supported me every step—from NICU, to home, to work.”

Pam

I struggled with wondering if I was doing it right, if I was producing enough, and some pain. Without the help of BNF, I’m not sure I would still be breastfeeding today.

Sophia

The early support helped me feel more aware and prepared mentally for breastfeeding. Now the playgroup impacts both my daughter and me—we get out, socialize, and look forward to it every week.
